1. Acceptance of These Terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Cobbles Tech LLC ("Cobbles Tech", "we", "us", or "our") governing your access to and use of Cinnamon, including the website at getcinnamon.ai, the web application at client.getcinnamon.ai, the Cinnamon API, and all related mobile and desktop applications (collectively, the "Service").
By creating an account, accessing, or using Cinnamon, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access or use the Service.
If you create or administer a household group on behalf of your family or household members, you represent that you have the requisite authority to invite those members and manage shared household settings.
2. Eligibility and Minimum Age Requirement (18+)
By using Cinnamon, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years old. Every individual who joins a household group must independently satisfy this age requirement and accept these Terms. If we discover or have reason to believe that any user is under 18, we will immediately terminate their account and purge all associated personal information.
3. License and Scope of Service
Subject to your compliance with these Terms, Cobbles Tech grants you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, revocable license to access and use Cinnamon for personal, household, and non-commercial administrative purposes.
Cinnamon is an evolving, early-access consumer AI platform. We reserve the right to modify, improve, update, suspend, or discontinue any feature, tool, connector, or aspect of the Service at any time, with or without notice.
4. User Accounts, Household Spaces & Member Management
To use Cinnamon, you must register for an account using Google, Apple, or email authentication. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.
Personal Space vs. Household Group Space
Cinnamon divides data into two distinct operational contexts:
- Personal Space: A private, encrypted partition containing personal tasks, confidential notes, private documents, and individual concierge interactions. Only you have access to your personal space.
- Household Group Space: A shared partition for up to 6 members (the creator plus up to 5 invited members). Shared deliverables, group calendars, family chores, and household plans placed here are visible to all approved members of the group.
Group Creator Authority & Member Removal
The creator of a household group has administrative authority to invite members, manage group settings, and remove members from the group. If a member is removed from a household group or chooses to leave, they immediately forfeit access to the group's shared space and collective history; however, their individual account, login credentials, and private personal space remain entirely intact in their own standalone personal environment.
5. Cinnamon Agent Actions, State-Changing Operations & Safeguards
Cinnamon is an autonomous AI agent capable of planning and executing tasks on your behalf. By using Cinnamon, you acknowledge and agree to the following operational framework:
State-Changing Actions vs. Informational Queries
Cinnamon distinguishes between informational queries (such as research, comparisons, or draft blueprints) and state-changing actions (such as dispatching communications, booking appointments, authorizing financial transactions, deleting persistent data, or modifying third-party accounts). State-changing actions modify persistent data, systems, or the external world, and may be difficult or impossible to reverse once initiated.
Human-in-the-Loop Confirmation ("Ask Before Acting")
Cinnamon is engineered around a strict "Ask Before Acting" principle. The agent acts exclusively on instructions provided by you or authorized members of your household group. For state-changing external actions, Cinnamon will present a proposed deliverable or action plan and require explicit human approval before executing. You are solely responsible for maintaining meaningful human review and for the instructions you provide and any proposed actions you confirm.
User Responsibility for Generated Artifacts & Deliverables
You are solely and legally responsible for all deliverables, documents, letters, dispute notices, blueprints, schedules, and communications that Cinnamon creates, formats, or transmits at your direction ("Artifacts"). You are responsible for each Artifact to the same extent as if you had authored, verified, and sent it yourself, whether or not you inspected its contents prior to execution. You accept full legal responsibility for its accuracy, lawfulness, and truthfulness.
No Fiduciary Duty or Common-Law Agency Relationship
Cinnamon and Cobbles Tech LLC do not have a fiduciary relationship with you. Cinnamon serves as a household software tool, not a legal fiduciary, broker, financial planner, or legal representative. Nothing in these Terms or in your interactions with Cinnamon shall be construed to create a legal agency, partnership, joint venture, or employment relationship between you and Cobbles Tech LLC, or between Cobbles Tech LLC and any third party with whom Cinnamon interacts on your behalf.
Right to Refuse Unlawful or Inappropriate Instructions
Your instructions do not authorize Cinnamon or Cobbles Tech LLC to engage in conduct that is unlawful, hazardous, or contrary to our policies. We reserve the absolute right to refuse to take, halt, or undo any action that we determine, in our sole discretion, would violate applicable law, infringe third-party rights, or breach these Terms, regardless of your authorization.
6. Subscriptions, Fees & Financial Transactions
Cinnamon offers both free trial allowances and premium paid subscription tiers:
- Free Tier: Includes a monthly allowance of standard household tasks and basic assistance.
- Cinnamon Plus: A flat monthly or annual subscription per person providing unlimited tasks, long-running agent workflows, and access to all integrations and connectors. Household groups can combine Free and Plus members.
Apple App Store Billing
If you purchase a subscription through the Apple App Store, payment is charged to your Apple ID account upon purchase confirmation. Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. You can manage and cancel your subscriptions in your Apple ID Account Settings. Refunds for App Store purchases are handled exclusively by Apple in accordance with Apple's refund policies.
Web & Direct Billing
If you subscribe directly through our website (processed securely via Stripe), fees are billed in advance on a recurring monthly or annual basis. You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings or by emailing help@getcinnamon.ai. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current paid billing period, and no partial or prorated refunds will be issued for unused periods.
Financial Transactions, Spend Limits & Merchant Commitments
If you instruct Cinnamon to complete purchases, reservations, tickets, or bookings involving payment credentials or financial transactions, you acknowledge and agree that:
- You are the legally authorized user of any payment credential, account, or financial instrument utilized;
- You bear all risk of financial loss arising from actions executed pursuant to your instructions or approvals;
- You are solely responsible for configuring and maintaining appropriate spend limits, budget boundaries, and merchant restrictions within Cinnamon;
- Any commercial transaction is strictly between you and the respective third-party merchant, vendor, or provider, subject to their terms, return policies, and fees;
- Certain transactions (such as non-refundable travel bookings, custom orders, or fee payments) are irreversible by nature;
- Cinnamon is not a licensed financial institution, bank, money transmitter, or broker.
7. Your Content & Privacy Commitments
You retain full and exclusive ownership of all text, documents, notes, receipts, schedules, instructions, images, and other materials you submit or create through Cinnamon ("Your Content").
You grant Cobbles Tech a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, parse, format, and transmit Your Content solely as necessary to provide, maintain, and execute the Service for you, including passing necessary context to our enterprise AI infrastructure partners.
8. Intellectual Property of Cobbles Tech LLC
All software, code, algorithms, design systems, visual interfaces, graphics, logos, marks, and interactive elements of Cinnamon are the exclusive intellectual property of Cobbles Tech LLC and its licensors, protected by United States and international copyright, trademark, trade secret, and patent laws.
"Cinnamon", "Cobbles Tech", and the Cinnamon household roofline mark are trademarks of Cobbles Tech LLC. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, reverse engineer, decompile, or create derivative works from the Service without our prior written authorization.
9. Acceptable Use and Prohibited Conduct
You agree not to use Cinnamon for any unlawful, abusive, or harmful purpose. Specifically, you agree not to:
- Violate any applicable federal, state, local, or international law or regulation;
- Use Cinnamon to generate defamatory, harassing, sexually explicit, hateful, or threatening content;
- Direct the agent to engage in fraudulent transactions, identity theft, unauthorized account access, or automated spamming;
- Misrepresent Cinnamon's automated communications as purely human-generated where disclosure of automated AI identity is required by applicable law or regulation;
- Chain or sequence automated agent actions across platforms in a manner designed to obscure their automated nature from affected recipients;
- Direct Cinnamon to decide, or serve as a substantial factor in deciding, without meaningful human review, whether an individual receives or keeps employment, housing, credit, insurance, educational placement, healthcare, or a legal right or benefit;
- Attempt to probe, breach, bypass, or circumvent authentication controls, household space isolation, or security barriers;
- Employ automated scrapers, crawlers, or bots to harvest data or exhaust system resources;
- Engage in prompt injection or adversarial attacks designed to manipulate the agent into unauthorized actions;
- Reverse engineer, disassemble, or extract proprietary algorithms, source code, or system prompts from Cinnamon.
We reserve the right to immediately suspend or terminate any account found in violation of these acceptable use restrictions.
10. Connected Third-Party Accounts & Services
Cinnamon allows you to connect third-party platforms (such as Google Workspace, Apple Calendar, and external email accounts). When you link a service, you authorize Cinnamon to read, write, or modify data on that service in accordance with the permissions you grant and the tasks you request. You remain solely responsible for your compliance with all applicable third-party terms of service and acceptable use policies.
11. Disclaimer of Warranties & No Guarantee of Execution
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS, WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMISSIBLE UNDER APPLICABLE LAW, COBBLES TECH LLC DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, ACCURACY, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT CINNAMON WILL OPERATE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE, OR THAT AI-GENERATED OUTPUTS, REMINDERS, PLANS, OR AGENT-INITIATED ACTIONS WILL ALWAYS BE TIMELY, ACCURATE, COMPLETE, OR DEFECT-FREE.
No Guarantee of Execution, Timeliness or Reversal
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Cobbles Tech LLC does not guarantee that: (a) Cinnamon will successfully complete any requested task or external action; (b) scheduled actions will execute in time to meet strict third-party deadlines (e.g. ticket on-sales, appointment slots, or payment cutoffs); (c) actions can be reversed, canceled, or undone once initiated; or (d) third-party services, APIs, or merchant portals will remain accessible or error-free.
12. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL COBBLES TECH LLC, ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AFFILIATES, AGENTS, OR LICENSORS BE LIABLE UNDER ANY THEORY OF LIABILITY—WHETHER IN CONTRACT, TORT, NEGLIGENCE, STRICT LIABILITY, OR OTHERWISE—FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOST PROFITS, LOSS OF DATA, GOODWILL, MISSED DEADLINES, UNINTENDED COMMUNICATIONS, CANCELED BOOKINGS, MERCHANT LATE FEES, REVERSAL FAILURES, OR ERRONEOUS TRANSACTIONS EXECUTED PURSUANT TO YOUR INSTRUCTIONS OR APPROVALS, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF: (A) THE TOTAL AMOUNT YOU PAID TO COBBLES TECH LLC FOR CINNAMON IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR (B) FIFTY UNITED STATES DOLLARS ($50.00 USD).
13. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Cobbles Tech LLC, its officers, directors, members, employees, and agents from and against any third-party claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees and court costs) arising out of or in any way connected with: (a) your access to or use of the Service; (b) Your Content; (c) instructions or confirmations you provide to the agent; (d) your violation of these Terms; or (e) your violation of any third-party right or applicable law.
14. Termination & Account Cancellation
You may terminate your account and discontinue use of Cinnamon at any time through the app settings or by contacting help@getcinnamon.ai. Upon account deletion, all personal space data, active schedules, and credentials are permanently purged in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
We may suspend or terminate your access to Cinnamon at any time, with or without notice, if we believe you have breached these Terms, engaged in fraudulent activity, or if continuing to provide the Service creates legal liability for us. Sections 7, 8, 11, 12, 13, 15, and 16 shall survive any termination of these Terms.
15. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These Terms, and all disputes arising out of or related to the Service, shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Connecticut, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles.
Any legal action or proceeding arising under these Terms shall be instituted exclusively in the state or federal courts situated in the State of Connecticut, and both you and Cobbles Tech LLC submit to the personal and exclusive jurisdiction of such courts.
Class Action Waiver: TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, YOU AND COBBLES TECH LLC AGREE THAT ALL CLAIMS SHALL BE BROUGHT IN AN INDIVIDUAL CAPACITY AND NOT AS A PLAINTIFF OR CLASS MEMBER IN ANY PURPORTED CLASS, COLLECTIVE, OR REPRESENTATIVE PROCEEDING.
16. General Provisions
- Entire Agreement: These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the complete and exclusive agreement between you and Cobbles Tech LLC concerning Cinnamon.
- Severability: If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable, that provision will be enforced to the maximum extent permissible, and the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
- No Waiver: Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not be deemed a waiver of such right or provision.
- Export Controls: You represent that you are not located in, or a national of, any country subject to U.S. government embargo or sanctions, and that you are not listed on any U.S. government prohibited persons list.
